The power of dreams is a fascinating thing,
One can never predict what it can bring.
To decipher one is hardly met
And to realize, harder, that I can bet.
We fly, we fall,
And build castles so tall.
From emperors to beggars, we've seen them all
But deciding what one wants to be was never our call.
Tides-a-bringing, parts-a-linging,
What have we not seen while we were dreaming?
An intoxication so strong one never has felt.
Than a dream in motion that can never be dealt.
Why do we dream, a dream so real,
That makes all the surroundings so surreal?
Is a question for which no answer can be found,
That has left all the educated - unlearned and unsound.
The power and beauty of a dream is not
Those fantasies and nightmares that one is brought.
But it lies in this and this alone,
That gives the feeling that we have borne
So many experiences that was never felt before
A beauty, in itself has come to the fore.
The power of dreams is a fascinating thing.
But dont dwell too much on the mysteries it can bring.
For answers cease to exist
For those questions that never really exist.

The Lonely Sea
Dark and hollow the sky beyond,
Deep and murky the sea around.
With thunderous hooves they crash on my bow
Wet and desolate I am upto my brow.
With a torn flag and a broken hull, a ghostly ship beckons
To infinity and beyond, I get their summons.
The unwavering mist calls out to me,
So heavenly, I wonder what is to be
Of a paradise that I hear lays beneath,
As God descends with a holy wreath.
So easy it is to give up this fight
And to be anything than a ship upright,
For the seas below have treasures galore
Of men, of ships, of mysteries and more.
Never have I felt a wrath so beastly
Which brings with it force so ghastly.
But deep below is a calmness sublime
Unravaged by the sands of time.
I can stand the solitude no more no more
That has laid even the manliest in strife before.
As the sea engulfs me to its murky depths below
I feel a calmness as I await the final blow.
I drown and drown to be a part
Of those untold stories that have fallen apart.
Down I go to the bottom of the sea
This lonely, lonely sea.

Down I go to the bottom of the sea
This lonely, lonely sea.

Fear
Fear, what causes us to fear?
So much that it brings along a tear
To our eye. Like never before we feel it's grip
So vice, so strong, till we feel our heart rip.
To overcome it is a gain
But can we ever overcome that pain?
It brings even the bravest down;
Here there is no soldier, no beggar nor clown.
We can all feel it, here there is no divide;
It grows and grows but there is no where to hide.
So what do we do? one may ask,
How are we to go about this complex task?
People have gone wide and far
To rid this plague that has no par.
But the answer for all to know is very simple
For this question that has led many a men cripple.
Face it say the elders,
Fight it say the learners,
For there is no actual fear
For all those who are willing to hear,
But only a belief so strong,
That has left us all in the wrong.
Fear, there is nothing like fear
That can get your life out of gear.
But panic not, for there is a cure
That can make us all once again pure.
Believe only in that, that is there,
That fear is only a dream that was never even there.
So much that it brings along a tear
To our eye. Like never before we feel it's grip
So vice, so strong, till we feel our heart rip.
To overcome it is a gain
But can we ever overcome that pain?
